Hardware Engineer II at Innoflight
Interview Preparation Plan
As a Hardware Engineer II at Innoflight, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and debugging of analog, power, and embedded board-level electronic systems for next-generation spacecraft. This role involves guiding PCB layouts, ensuring signal and power integrity, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance space hardware from concept to launch. You will also be involved in performance testing, sustainment support, and the continuous improvement of mission-critical electronic systems. This position requires a strong understanding of high-speed digital interfaces, analog circuit design, and power electronics, with an emphasis on creating robust solutions for radiation- and EMI-sensitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and debug analog, power, and embedded board-level electronic systems with high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., Rocket I/O, Ethernet, PCI-e, DDR, RS-422, LVDS).
- Provide guidance to PCB layout teams on stack-up configuration, signal/power integrity requirements, and high-speed routing constraints.
- Collaborate with software, firmware (HDL), mechanical, and systems engineers for subsystem integration and design reviews.
