This role requires a strategic approach to coordinating patient services and promoting strong relationships with Revenue Cycle departments to achieve key operational targets. The Associate Administrator provides guidance and support, sets performance goals for subordinates, and monitors individual performance continuously. They also collaborate with clinical and ancillary areas to establish best practices for patient service coordination. Adherence to and enforcement of all hospital and department policies, safety measures, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., Joint Commission, HIPAA, EMTALA, Medicare) are critical. The role also focuses on improving patient satisfaction, optimizing operational flow, enhancing productivity, and increasing point-of-service collections.
