The Senior Director of Talent Optimization & AI is a pivotal leadership role responsible for architecting and executing an AI-enabled talent strategy at Cityblock Health. This individual will own strategic talent acquisition, internal mobility, AI innovation within the People organization, predictive analytics, and overall talent optimization. The role requires building the necessary intelligence, systems, and capabilities to support a modern, skills-based, and AI-forward workforce. Collaboration with the CTO and AI/ML teams is essential to deeply embed AI into all aspects of talent management, including attraction, deployment, development, and optimization. This position operates with a P&L mindset, transforming talent acquisition into a proactive, predictive, and ROI-driven function that maintains budget neutrality. The Director will be responsible for AI-driven people strategy, including building and governing the roadmap for AI deployment across the entire People lifecycle, from talent intelligence and internal mobility to workforce planning, automation, assessments, and analytics. Evaluation of emerging technologies, adherence to responsible AI frameworks, and ensuring compliance, transparency, and ethical use are critical components of this role. The ultimate goal is to leverage AI to enhance efficiency, accuracy, decision-making quality, and the overall candidate and employee experience.
