Regional Director, Risk & Controls at WPP

The Regional Director, Risk & Controls at WPP is a pivotal role responsible for establishing and maintaining robust risk management and internal control frameworks across the North America region. This position acts in partnership with the Global Director, Risk & Controls, to implement strategic priorities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly SOX. The role involves leading second-line-of-defense activities, driving continuous improvement in risk assessment and control effectiveness, and developing training programs to foster a strong control environment throughout the region. This individual will also enhance the design and implementation of controls and processes, support remediation efforts, and explore digital compliance solutions to improve efficiency.
