Pitch Labs is seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead its People & Culture initiatives. This role is crucial for supporting the organization's mission of inspiring, educating, and mentoring high school entrepreneurs. The Director of People & Culture (Volunteer) will oversee HR operations, collaborate with department directors, and work closely with the Executive Director on human resources and DEI matters. This position requires a proactive individual who can guide and train others, manage workloads, and ensure the smooth functioning of the HR department, especially in covering for HR Operations representatives when needed. The ideal candidate will possess a background in Human Resources, Recruitment, DEI, Operations, Marketing, Education Tech, Startups, or Non-profit work. They should be detail-oriented, a team player, responsive, and comfortable delegating tasks. Familiarity with Pitch Labs' tech stack, including Discord, Dover ATS, Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Canva, Asana, and GitHub, is highly desirable. The role involves scheduling and leading onboarding sessions, candidate interviews, and creating training materials, contributing to a positive and productive volunteer environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the workload of HR Operations representatives and provide support.
- Collaborate with Department Directors on hiring needs and organizational matters.
- Work closely with the Executive Director/Co-Founder on HR and DEI initiatives.
