The Director of Corporate Compliance at National Church Residences is responsible for enhancing the organization's Compliance & Ethics Program to ensure adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and maintaining systems and processes that promote a culture of compliant and ethical behavior across the organization. The Director plays a critical role in protecting the organization's integrity by identifying and mitigating risks and vulnerabilities. This position will also be responsible for the development and deployment of compliance programs, including all eight elements of the OIG recommended program. The Director will work closely with the in-house legal team and collaborate with specialized compliance staff embedded within operating divisions. Key responsibilities include establishing compliance standards, designing improvements to internal control structures, and staying abreast of emerging trends, enforcement actions, and industry best practices in healthcare and housing compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of federal and state laws, such as the False Claims Act, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and HUD regulations.
