This role is a key part of General Motors' Global Public Policy (GPP) team, specifically within the Global Strategic Initiatives (GSI) group. The primary function is to generate actionable insights into the global policy landscape, identifying both risks and opportunities that could impact GM's business objectives. The role involves integrating policy considerations into broader business initiatives and influencing policy trends to support GM's overall strategy, particularly its vision for an all-electric future. The Manager will be responsible for assessing the impact of global geopolitical and policy developments on critical areas such as energy, emerging technologies, industrial policy, and consumer issues. This involves transforming raw information through synthesis and analysis into unique, timely, relevant, accurate, and actionable insights. These insights are then communicated to GM decision-makers through high-quality written products, visuals, and briefings.
Key Responsibilities
